 There are a large number of sites claiming to get you surveys that you can fill in at home and earn $100’s of dollars. But beware – Many of these do not deliver what they promise. Most have out of date information, broken links and companies that no longer accept registrations.
The four sites below are the BEST survey sites on the internet at this present moment in time. They all charge pretty much the same to sign up – between 35 and 39 dollars. This gives you access to an extensive list of marketing research companies. All of which really do want to know your opinions and suggestions on certain products. And they’ll pay you for these opinions! They also give you lots of information and advice on getting the most out of your surveys.
Will they really pay me to take surveys?
Absolutely! They have to – by contract and by law! If you take a $15 survey, you’ll get paid $15. That’s for certain.
How much can I realistically get paid?
This mostly depends on YOU. Firstly it depends on the quality of your feedback. Some sites claim that you can get paid up to $25 per survey. This is true, but you won’t get paid anything like this when you first start. You have to show them that you are a reliable and good observer. The marketing companies reward individuals that give concise, insightful and useful feedback in their surveys.
Also you’ll benefit more if you sign up to as many survey companies as possible (registration is free). The more survey companies your with, the more surveys arrive in your inbox.
Finally, the amount of surveys you receive will depend on who you are, your age, your sex, your job, your interests and where you are in the world. There’ll be surveys available for everyone, but some demographics receive more then others. Moms are among some of the most sought after opinions.
Is it true that some survey companies only offer prize draws?
This is true. Some marketing research companies will reward there users with an entrance to a free prize draws for things like ipod’s, PS3’s, LCD TV’s etc. But this can work to your advantage. There’s a little known secret about these types of surveys. Most people, that see a survey for a prize draw will normally dismiss it. This means that not that many people are entering. This puts the odds of winning way up. My advice is… Enter one a day – It only takes 10 minutes. Not a lot of people are doing this – It’s an untapped resource people just don’t know about yet!
Is $1000 a month, an unrealistic amount to aim for?
No not really. You only have to complete 3 or 4 $10 dollar surveys a day and that (by its self) will take you over $1000. Plus the $10 dollar surveys are really easy to come by! But here’s a little secret for ya… There’s a way that you could double that amount and that’s by attending ‘Focus Groups’.
What is a focus group?
It’s simply, a group of people that are brought together to discuss a product or service for about an hour. The items could be a TV show, a new kind of potato chip, an electric tooth brush, GM trucks, a new refrigerator and so on and so forth. The discussion is recorded and then compiled in a report and submitted to its client. This information is then used to improve the service or product.
Are focus groups regularly available?
They certainly are! I get asked to attend these groups all the time. There are groups happening all over the world. Even in smaller communities. Most are held in the evenings or at weekends. Some times they’re just a phone interview. A friend of mine gets $100 for 45 minute interviews.
How much do focus groups pay?
At the very least it’ll be $75 dollars. But most offer more then $100 dollars.
How do I go about getting these focus groups?
Simply sign up with the marketing sites that offer focus groups. Then when you’re invited to them, turn up on time, and be as helpful as possible in your evaluations. You’ll soon find your in demand and get more and more invites to groups. The more you do, the more value you are. Before long you’ll start getting invited to ‘elite’ groups. And get paid even more!
This is an easy way to earn an extra income from your home computer. As I said earlier this type of work is especially profitable for moms. Worked in the right way you could make more then $2000 a month. If you take 3 $10 dollar surveys a day (30 minutes a day, investment) and do 3 focus groups or phone interviews (3 to 4 hour investment). The surveys would make you $900 a month and the focus groups would make $1200 a month. Producing $2100 a month for about just 18 hours of work.
